As someone who consumes a lot of meat and dairy in my diet, I was skeptical of trying a vegan cafe. I am so happy I did. The keylime 'cheesecake' is better than any actual cheesecake I've had (and I love cheesecake). It was thick, creamy, and full of flavor. My friend had a brownie that was also delicious (I helped myself to a sample ). The coffee was good and the people were wonderful. The earthy atmosphere with plants, art, and natural tones all through the cafe added a peaceful/serene feeling. I will absolutely be back for that cheesecake.

I love going back to this cafe. Their cashew latte is a must try. I recently tried the coconut lime laksa and it was delicious. The service was fast and our server was very friendly. We also loved their banana cream pie, and had to take some home.

I have enjoyed the Moth for many years having tried nearly all the options on the menu and enjoyed them all. Of course I have some favourites like the Chips N Shrooms or the Moth Burger. I have been meaning to try the Crab Cake Benny but previously always put it off for a seasonal offering at the. It is now my go-to. It is absolutely one of the best options worth trying. While it doesn't taste like a replica of traditional eggs benny, it absolutely replicates the delicious experience of eating eggs benny. It is a wonderful use of jackfruit. I highly recommend it. I also would say if you are looking to try something new to drink, go for the Mushroom Pine. Described to me accurately as "like a mint hot choloate with tea". It is creamy, lightly sweet and has a hint of floral-ness. The vibe is always friendly and relaxed though it can get noisy. The light is bright and refreshing ( don't be shy to wear sunglasses if it's in your eyes). The staff is minimal but always working hard never sacrificing quality. It can be slow on very busy days, so please be kind.

Our server Amna was great. Wasn't sure about The Moth Cafe but ventured out on a 15 min walk from our hotel at the Sandman and it was worth the steps! The ambiance is very hipster cool with nice lighting and a bohemian feel to things. The menu isn't overwhelming and the food is fantastic. We had breakfast and paired the meals with mushroom lattes and mochas. Worth the upgrade! All in all a delicious place to eat and they even have a good craft beer menu for later in the day. Gotta try that vegan Big Mac burger next time.

I was visiting Edmonton for a week back in August and stopped in a few times while I was there. The food here is absolutely amazing! The staff were awesome and I loved the whole atmosphere. We tried several dishes during our trip and loved every one of them. Both the purple yam risotto and the tiramisu stood out as the best, I definitely recommend trying them both. Vegan or not, this restaurant is a must try!

We really enjoyed our meal here from the food to the atmosphere to the service. At first, we were disappointed with the menu since they have limited gluten-free options. It would be so easy for them to get a good quality vegan/gluten-free bread – – perhaps from”Food in the Nud” nearby — and be able to offer a gluten-free option for the sandwich and tomato soup combo and the veggie burger combo, both items that we hoped to try. We ended up very happy with our selection, however, and shared the gluten-free pancakes, which were Matcha/lemon/blueberry and the vegan omelette. Both had incredible flavor profiles, were cooked to perfection, and you could tell they were made with quality ingredients. We are so grateful to have found this restaurant during our visit to Edmonton.
